Cyberlink Power DVD 9 is a fantastic piece of software for playing DVDs, HD and Blu-ray movies. PowerDVD is more than just another Windows media player clone though, it can edit and convert movies, supporting a wide range of formats including AVCHD, AVCREC, MPEG-4 AVC, MPEG-2 and WMV. Power DVD supports up to 8 channels of Audio with HDMI support. Other pro audio support includes DolbyTrue DH, Cyberlink have spent alot of time supporting the newest audio formats.
Using TrueTheater you can play movies in a user interface that is simliar to that you expect from a real DVD
player.
The Cyberlink Power2Go application aids you in creating music libraries and discs in either normal CD player audio, MP3 or WMA. To burn music discs with Cyberlink PowerDirector requires Windows Vista or XP and 512 Mb of RAM. PowerDVD can normally run on a bit less.

PowerLink select the disc type that you want to create from the CD burning menu, then use the search engine provided with Cyberlink to find the files that you wish to burn. You can search music and DVDs by meta data such as album name and genre.
With the Cyberlink DVD 21suite you can burn a number of formats. The first is the DataDisc, if you have a rewritable disc you can treat it a little like a hard drive.
